Moravia, Heart of Europe
We are a winemaking family from Uherské Hradiště: winemaker Josef, who loves to surprise with every new sample; Josef's wife Jarmila with her legendary home cooking; and son-in-law Jaromír, who brings it all together into a perfect experience. We ferment our wines on natural yeasts, don't filter them, and use sulphur sparingly.
Non-alcoholic, white · 0.7 l · 6 EUR
100% juice from Müller-Thurgau grapes. Hand-harvested, pressed and settled. Bottled with pasteurisation — no sulphur or other additives, no alcohol. Beautiful clean grape flavour reminiscent of grape juice and butter pears; will develop lovely honey notes with age. Drink as a pick-me-up by the glass or dilute with water to taste.
Semi-dry, sparkling · 0.75 l · 8 EUR
Josef is not one for bubbles, but after some persuasion he created Frízo. The cuvée is 50% Riesling for acidity and body, 40% Blauer Silvaner for minerality, 6% Sauvignon for sweetness and 4% Malverina for fruit tones. The result is a semi-dry frizzante with a full body, pleasant juiciness and a long herbal finish — one that even Josef is happy to pour.

Both nose and palate lead with dead-nettle, gooseberry and lemon balm, accompanied by white grapefruit and green apple. The finish reveals quinine and cashew. A refreshing summer wine for the terrace when you crave expressive, almost Hibernal-like character. Perfect for an evening when, after a hard day, you sense the onset of lethargy and decide to snap out of it with an invigorating, characterful wine.

Semi-dry, rosé · 0.75 l · 10 EUR
Raspberries, blackcurrant, plums and fresh strawberries accompanied by orange juice. Our most popular wine in spring 2026. A wine that keeps disappearing from our glasses — we can't otherwise explain where it always goes.
Sugar at harvest 22.8 °NM · Alcohol 12.5% · Acidity 6.2 g/l · Residual sugar 7.5 g/l
Dry, white · 0.75 l · 12 EUR
Our current favourite. On the palate it develops into a full body while still keeping its youthful freshness — there's still a gentle prickle, and after each sip it asks for another. In the glass: autumn pear, white melon, greengage through to nectarine, lemon balm, white chocolate, lime and a drop of propolis. We pair it with pasta and prawns in a cream sauce.
Sugar at harvest 21 °NM · Alcohol 13% · Acidity 8 g/l · Residual sugar 4.4 g/l
Dry, white · 0.75 l · 10 EUR
Full-bodied and leaving a beautiful waxy coat on the palate, it lingers and fades only slowly after each sip. In the glass: beeswax, greengage, fresh plums, grapes, propolis and white chocolate. This wine divides us — Josef is not taken by it, Jaromír very much is. How will it be for you?
Sugar at harvest 22.5 °NM · Alcohol 13.5% · Acidity 7.2 g/l · Residual sugar 4.9 g/l
Dry, white · 0.75 l · 10 EUR
Made from traditional varieties from our small vineyard in Mařatice. On the palate: green apple in tonic water, grapefruit turning to mandarin, basil and cashew. Full-bodied, dry and enjoyable to sip through the whole evening.
Sugar at harvest 20.7 °NM · Alcohol 11.5% · Acidity 7.2 g/l · Residual sugar 5.1 g/l
Dry, white · 0.75 l · 10 EUR
The nose opens with green apple, salinity, green pepper and green tea, followed by grapefruit, tarragon and a touch of quinine at the finish. The body is held up by minerality — let it roll on the palate for a moment to open up to its full richness. Pleasant, easy drinking.
Sugar at harvest 18.5 °NM · Alcohol 12.5% · Acidity 6.6 g/l · Residual sugar 2.1 g/l
Semi-dry, white · 0.75 l · 12 EUR
Distinctly herbal this time: gooseberry, lemon balm, thyme, meadow flowers, black tea and a vineyard peach to round it off. On the palate it tastes drier than the nose suggests. After Hillside Cuvée and Palava, our most popular wine at events.
Sugar at harvest 22 °NM · Alcohol 13.5% · Acidity 7.2 g/l · Residual sugar 6.5 g/l
Dry, white · 0.75 l · 12 EUR
The nose opens with green apple, salinity, green tea, greengage, lime and cashew. The palate confirms the nose and feels fuller than the first impression suggests. The body is supported by a balanced acidity; it drinks well and disappears from the glass quickly. Jaromír's long-time favourite variety (in our style, at least).
Sugar at harvest 21 °NM · Alcohol 12.5% · Acidity 7.7 g/l · Residual sugar 1.7 g/l
Semi-sweet, white · 0.75 l · 12 EUR
Reminiscent of lime blossom, autumn pear and cane sugar with molasses. Beautifully harmonious — the residual sugar is balanced by a lively acidity. A wine that will gain complexity with age as the sugar in the bottle develops honeyed notes.
Sugar at harvest 21 °NM · Alcohol 12.5% · Acidity 8.9 g/l · Residual sugar 21 g/l
Dry, white · 0.75 l · 10 EUR
Grabs attention from the first sip with autumn pear, yellow apple, white currant and persimmon. On the palate banana, vanilla custard, and tonic-to-grapefruit tones join in. At higher temperatures muscat blossom and grape juice emerge.
Sugar at harvest 21.5 °NM · Alcohol 13% · Acidity 6.6 g/l · Residual sugar 5.1 g/l
Dry, white · 0.75 l · 8 EUR
Stays fresh as a morning in the vineyard. In the glass: green apple and lime blossom, complemented by fragrant lemon balm and a touch of sage. Full, harmonious and simply suits us for slow sipping with friends through long evenings.
Sugar at harvest 23.5 °NM · Alcohol 14% · Acidity 5.4 g/l · Residual sugar 4.9 g/l
Semi-sweet, white · 0.5 l · 12 EUR
Our most popular wine of the 2024 vintage. Wins you over with peach sweetness, orange and elderflower cordial, followed by apricot, mango, lime and gooseberry. Salinity, caramel and persimmon form the closing accents. Ideal as a celebratory toast — not just at weddings.
Sugar at harvest 23 °NM · Alcohol 13.5% · Acidity 5.9 g/l · Residual sugar 21.8 g/l
Semi-dry, white · 0.75 l · 10 EUR
A blend from the Mařatice and Hruška vineyards, giving a full Riesling with a lime-blossom pull, lime-flower syrup, lemon balm and an apricot undertone. The sweeter off-dry character is beautifully supported by a fresh acidity and a mineral finish.
Sugar at harvest 23 °NM · Alcohol 13% · Acidity 6.8 g/l · Residual sugar 9.6 g/l

Johanniter is like travelling between worlds — one foot in a tropical paradise with tones of vanilla, coconut and chocolate, the other by a warm fireplace with caramel, cardamom and liquorice candy. Full-bodied but uncomplicated, it delivers a pleasant "dry" dessert experience. The ideal companion for long winter evenings. Pairs beautifully with Josef's fuet sausage.
Sugar at harvest 18 °NM · Alcohol 12.5% · Acidity 5.6 g/l · Residual sugar 1.5 g/l
Dry, rosé · 0.75 l · 11 EUR
Our unusual blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay — yes, a barriqued cuvée of red and white. For wine lovers who fancy a red but find heavy reds don't agree with them. In the glass: strawberries and raspberries lead, joined by cherries, plums, greengage and white mulberry. The finish brings vanilla chocolate and gentle liquorice. Superb with light meats, roast chicken, or simply sipping on the terrace.
Sugar at harvest 23.5 °NM · Alcohol 14% · Acidity 5 g/l · Residual sugar 2 g/l
Sweet, white · 0.5 l · 13 EUR
Layered and captivating. Peaches, mango, raisins, dates and candied citrus bathe in dandelion honey. The finish brings lime and elderflower cordial, vanilla, caramel pecans, pineapple and apricot. A perfect festive full stop to any day that deserves a celebration.
Sugar at harvest 27 °NM · Alcohol 12% · Acidity 7.2 g/l · Residual sugar 67.6 g/l
Dry, white · 0.75 l · 12 EUR
One of our firm favourites. Lightly barriqued, beautifully full-bodied yet still young and fresh. Nose and palate: autumn pear, mandarin zest, vanilla, coconut and white currant, with hints of milk chocolate and rhubarb. It pairs perfectly with many dishes, making it a great choice for those new to wine pairing. We serve it with a toasted baguette, tomatoes, home-made olive paste from a friend in Spain, drizzled with balsamic reduction. We're happy to open it any evening after work.

Solaris 2023 is like a celebratory cake in a glass — full of ripe tropical fruit, ready to be "cut into" with each sip. Lemon aroma and fresh mango juice intertwine with vanilla cream, yellow melon and a hint of muscat blossom. A light touch of honey and a gentle finish add a pleasant sweetness that makes every glass a small celebration. We pair it with home-made apple strudel.

Dry, red · 0.75 l · 20 EUR
For us this Zweigelt embodies the perfect Moravian red. Balanced and elegant, full of red berries, cherries and raspberries, with a hint of overripe sloe. The barrel gently underlines the wine with chocolate and a drop of coffee. On the palate: blackberries, blueberries and caramelised apple, with a tart sweetness in the background. An absolute gem for us — we're not used to expecting miracles from this variety, but the 2022 vintage simply confirms the outstanding potential of Moravian reds.

Dry, red · 0.75 l · 22 EUR
The Dornfelder from the excellent 2022 vintage impressed us so much that we skipped the barrel and bottled it straight without added sulphur. Each bottle develops a little differently; the wine may strike some as too "airy." For lovers of full, quality reds without sulphur this is the ideal choice. On the palate: plum jam, blackcurrant, mulberries, figs, blueberry jam, dark chocolate and a drop of coffee. Pairs beautifully with Jarmila's roast goose with lokše, and can happily be laid down for 5 or more years. It probably won't last long with us — we'll drink everything you don't buy.

Dry, white · 0.75 l · 22 EUR
This Palava ages like our lives — full of layers and thoughts that reveal themselves gradually. The grapes were macerated on the skins for three days and the wine spent six months in a barrique barrel. On the palate: candied orange peel, mustard seed, lemon balm and liquorice, all underlined by a gentle white pepper. Mandarins, clove, white currant marmalade and almond paste gradually interweave with the wine's dense, almost oily texture. The ripeness of this vintage brings a deeper, fuller experience — fine company for moments of inner reflection and philosophical conversation.
Sugar at harvest 22.5 °NM · Alcohol 13% · Acidity 4.4 g/l · Residual sugar 2.3 g/l
Dry, red · 0.75 l · 16 EUR
Bottled with fine lees, this Pinot Noir is like a little toboggan ride of flavours. The very first impression brings sweetness reminiscent of rum pralines and dark chocolate. On the palate: over-ripe black rowan berries, black cherries and caramel, complemented by a gentle touch of vanilla. Every sip delivers an extraordinary feeling on the swallow unlike anything else we experience. Full and naturally balanced; pairs beautifully with not-too-sweet gingerbread.
Sugar at harvest 25 °NM · Alcohol 15.5% · Acidity 6.1 g/l · Residual sugar 1 g/l
Dry, red · 0.75 l · 14 EUR
We call it "the sixteen." A Pinot with a liqueur-like thread that warms you without a pot on the stove. Fermented naturally. In the glass: cherries, sour cherries, rum, mulberries, sloe and chocolate. Dry, warming, full body with a long finish. Superb with pâté or a quiet evening by the fireplace when it's freezing outside.
Sugar at harvest 26.5 °NM · Alcohol 16% · Acidity 6.7 g/l · Residual sugar 0.2 g/l
Dry, red · 0.75 l · 16 EUR
Opens gradually into plum jam, cherries and blackcurrant, then blackberries, blueberries and gooseberry. The spice holds a firm line — cinnamon, clove, star anise and gingerbread, chocolate in the finish. The tannic aftertaste grips gently. Pairs perfectly with Mrs Medková's home-made pâté, familiar to most of our guests. We open it after winter work in the vineyard, hands still remembering the cold, or alongside roasted meat in gravy. Dornfelder has strength and character; it needs time and attention.
Sugar at harvest 26.3 °NM · Alcohol 15.5% · Acidity 6.46 g/l · Residual sugar 0.2 g/l
Dry, red · 0.75 l · 18 EUR
André 22 is concentrated power. The nose is dense as plum jam, full of molasses and figs. On the palate: sloe, black pepper and the rough skin of a peach. The tannins are uncompromising, drying the mouth to the taste of nuts and kiwi. Still young, full of strength and directness, with the promise of a rich future. Lay it down for five or more years to let it settle.
